At Crowsnest Conservation Society, we believe in the power of collective action to protect our natural world. We are a dedicated charitable organization committed to preserving the beauty and biodiversity of the Crowsnest Pass and its surrounding areas. Our mission is to inspire and engage individuals, businesses, and communities to take meaningful steps towards environmental conservation.

Organized and lead by a dedicated team of community volunteers, Crowsnest Conservation provides free and welcoming conservation events throughout the year, featuring guest lecturers and guided tours to better understand, appreciate, and protect our community resources.
We advocate to local government officials and attend panels to advise on local land use issues. We've created extensive resources to help inquiring community members to find practical ways to live locally with conservation values. |

AUGUST Bird WALKGuided Bird Walk
Date: Friday, August 2 & Saturday, August 3 Time: 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. Meeting location: Gazebo Park, 13019 - 20th Ave Blairmore Details: Join Crowsnest Conservation Staff for a morning walk to view some of the varieties of birds that bloom in our region. Appreciate the vistas and learn about local feathered creatures. A great event for the whole family. Be sun safe and prepare for hot weather. Bring binoculars! |
August SPEAKER SERIES: Wildlife PhotographyWith John Launstein
Date: Thursday, August 1 Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Location: Frank Slide Interpretive Centre Details: Pick up your camera and learn about documenting your surroundings with John Launstein! Discover how he started his journey and how you can find and capture wildlife in their unguarded state. Stay after the event for an informal reception and chat with fellow attendees and our speaker over complimentary dessert and beverages. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for beverages and desserts. W/C access. |

DONATECrowsnest Conservation accepts donations through Canada Helps, a registers charity that processes secure, online donations on behalf of Canada's 80, 000+ registered charitable organizations.
Community donations go towards our advocacy, events and operational costs of our organization. Each donation contributes to our team and the opportunities we create through programs in our community. |
