Join us for a FREE, educational evening! Elliot is a Restoration Biologist with Freshwater Conservation Canada (FCC). Elliot has been involved with FCC since October 2012, when he was first hired as a fish rescue technician, capturing fish in irrigation canals around southwestern Alberta and returning them to their home rivers. Born and raised in Calgary, Elliot loves fish, especially native fish, as well as working with volunteers and stewardship groups to implement habitat rehabilitation projects throughout western Canada. Outside of work, Elliot enjoys playing dodgeball and river snorkeling, and has now crawled around in creeks on three continents, with a goal to snorkel them all. Come learn from and meet Elliot on July 30th! Find the Facebook event HERE |
Enjoy a leisurely 60-90 minute stroll and discover the natural beauty and excellent birdlife of our area. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water and binoculars. Runners are preferable to sandals unless they are a trail type.
We will carpool to our location. Hope to see you there!
